*Fresno State Humanics Students Announce Grant Recipients*
*Fresno, CA – *The Humanics Students4Giving (S4G) Philanthropy Project at
California State University, Fresno will be granting $15,000 to celebrate
three community benefit organizations at a public grant reception on Monday,
May 15, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Arte Américas (1630 Van Ness Ave, 93721).

Fresno State students received proposals from and evaluated over 20
local community
benefit organizations for three categories: *Public Policy and
Advocacy*, *Board
and Staff Development*, and *Volunteer Management*.

Art of Life Cancer Foundation , Focus
, and the Poverello House
will each be awarded $5,000. Since 2007,
$131,000 in S4G grants have been awarded to 32 local CBOs. These funds are
raised from individual donors
and through
partnerships with Central Valley Community Foundation
Whitney Foundation
, Campus
Compact and Fidelity® Charitable Gift Fund
Philip T. Manoogian Memorial Fund
Geil Family Fund, and Kennel Bookstore.

Fresno State Humanics showcases a special partnership between our
region’s largest
educational institution and the local philanthropic sector for which it aims
