*CVCF Kicks Off Inaugural Film Making Contest: *

*‘The Big Tell: Undiscovered Stories from the Central Valley’ *

*FRESNO, CA *– The Central Valley Community Foundation will kick off its
inaugural film making contest Thursday during ArtHop inside Frank’s
Place. ‘*The
Big Tell: Undiscovered Stories from the Central Valley’ *will be the
region’s largest film making competition and will attract film makers from
all over California to document the stories of the Central Valley.

The Central Valley Community Foundation, in partnership with Community
Media Access Collaborative (CMAC), will award ten (10) grants of $5,000
each for filmmakers and/or community benefit organizations to produce a
short film depicting a story from California’s Central Valley. The winning
films will be debuted at a red carpet gala in Downtown Fresno in October.
