Neighborhood Rescue is a 501c3 community benefit organization that works to
turn around high crime communities, and it is seeking interns (FYI, the
deadline to enroll in SOC185 internship is Monday, 2/12, but Fall
Internships may also be available).

Do you have internal drive to improve the world we live in? Are you looking

We are CURRENTLY seeking interns nationwide. This is a work-from-home
position. You will be working directly with leadership from our
headquarters in Los Angeles.

Neighborhood Rescue of America is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that
travels nationwide to high crime low-income ethnic neighborhoods and
through utilizing a validated blueprint, rehabilitates the neighborhoods
thereby improving the lives of the children and their pets.

In the Research Associate position you will be required to mine for data.
This data will be used to build out social economic modeling in determining
which neighborhood we should target based on a multitude of parameters.

We see undergraduates and graduate students with backgrounds in Business,
Criminology, Psychology, African-American/Hispanic Studies, and Sociology
as great candidates for this position, however, we will consider other
majors as well.

The hours are very flexible based on your availability. This is a very
rewarding internship as you would be directly involved in building out the
models that assist in making the strategic decisions of determining which
neighborhood(s) should be rehabilitated This internship will provide a
unique opportunity to stand out, further develop your skills, and have a
massive positive impact on a state and national level.
